sefris is a native of torinne; life in the city is all she's ever known. born to two half-elf parents, she was exposed to more of her own kind growing up than most others of her descent. her family was largely middle class until sefris' mother became deathly ill when she was sixteen; after that, her family struggled to get by, barely able to keep a roof over their heads and food on the table. nearly faced with homelessness when her mother got sicker, sefris made a choice to turn to a life of crime; more dangerous, surely, but the coin she received was more than enough to keep her family fed and sheltered. her mother passed the week before she turned seventeen, and shortly after that, she was introduced to the felgarde by her friend, selise. though she's not very high on the food chain... it's a living.
her only ties in the city are to selise and the felgarde. sefris doesn't have any sort of permanent address; home is usually a warm campfire in the wilds while on a job or a room in a tavern for the night, lucian snoring soundly beside her.
